CHALLENGE, WINNER OR MEDIOCRE

The human being is born only to be a winner, let's
take away the idea that we were born to be poor and mediocre, we have all the
ability to overcome any barrier, obstacle, or challenge that may stand in our
way, based on faith and effort. Definitely, faith and effort managed to make
many successful men famous and if we want to be successful we pay the price to
be successful, and today is the best time to start. Let's get organized, let's
plan all our activities for the day and end up exhausted but satisfied that we
have complied with everything agreed upon. A Chinese sage said that "a
journey of ten thousand steps begins with a first step".
Perseverance is synonymous with perseverance,
tenacity, firmness to achieve an objective. "Energy and perseverance
conquer all things" (Benjamin Franklin). Perseverance is a principle that
helps us achieve everything we want except not to die, at a certain time.
Thanks to perseverance we can see the consecration of our faith and effort. It
is what allows us to see the achievements that we so desire. No successful
person in this world lacked perseverance in the determination to achieve its
objectives. "Courage, good behavior and perseverance conquer all things
and obstacles that want to destroy them and get in your way" (Emerson)
Once we achieve that these three principles (faith,
effort, perseverance) are in our scale of values, success will be ours. Accepting
adversities as something inevitable, being aware that problems will not last
forever and doing everything possible to solve them. They are the ingredients
of intelligent optimism. It is not about seeing life in pink, but accepting
what life holds and working to change it. "An optimist sees an opportunity
in every calamity, a pessimist sees a calamity in every opportunity"
(Winston Churchill), who ironically but wisely admitted that he was an
optimistic person, because "it does not seem very useful to be anything
else"
No one can doubt the frankness of his claims, given
the harsh circumstances in which he had to put all his mettle and optimism to
the test, during World War II, when his country was ruthlessly bombed,
everything seemed lost and Churchill declared to the British people that I
could only promise them "blood, effort, sweat and tears." Although
the British statesman was undoubtedly an exceptional being, his optimism does
not have to be, and it is even an attitude that can be learned. One of the best
investments we can make for ourselves to live fully. "Optimism is a mental
attitude that has clearly positive effects on our physical and psychological
health, on social and economic life, on work and on our society in
general," declares optimists or pessimists may seem superficial, "but
all of us , on the most disparate occasions, we end up describing ourselves in
one way or another "
A perspective on life .- "Some of us will clearly
perceive the difficulties of life as insurmountable, while others manage to
face them positively by extracting strength and lessons for the future",
"optimism is a life perspective that favors the application of
constructive and realistic solutions ". To be optimistic is not to see the
life of a rose, to exhibit a permanent and foolish joy, or to motivate each day
before the mirror through affirmations that are positive, as unreal as they are
deceitful. According to experts, "the person who is 'intelligent optimist'
has the courage to see life as it is, with its joys and sorrows, lights and
shadows, satisfactions and problems, adversities and fortunes."
It is "someone who looks for creative solutions
and solutions to problems, who learns from mistakes, converting what for others
are" failures "into" valuable lessons for the future ". Is
the optimist born or made? Although there is a predisposition in each person to
be more or less courageous, positive and cheerful, it also influences the
environment in which it has developed and how we have learned to perceive the
world. Optimism is an attitude towards life that can be cultivated, expanded
and learned, like other skills. To develop the "intelligent
optimism", this expert recommends "devote every day a little of our
energy to a noble cause".
These are activities as simple as being affectionate
with the family, doing a favor to a friend or organizing a community cleanup of
the neighborhood. No matter what is done: the fundamental thing is that what
drives our actions is the passion for something foreign to us. A life in which
one does not help others or that does not have a high cause, almost always
results in feelings of emptiness, loneliness and depression. When one devotes
his energy to a good cause, he becomes active and enriches himself. Optimism is
also nourished by fighting for our dreams, if you want to change some aspect of
your private life, but do not have the approval of your closest friends,
analyze if there is anything to justify this lack of support.
If there is not, start laying the foundations to be
able to go in search of your dream. It is terribly depressing to let the
opinion of others influence our way of understanding life, but it is even more
so if we never come to believe in our potential and in ourselves. Do more
instead of less.-Many mistakenly think they would be happier and all their
problems would be solved if they eliminated the stress and daily concerns of
their lives, but this is underestimating the importance of incentive and
conflict, as well as the satisfaction that It results from solving the problems.
Although it is very difficult to indulge in family and
work and to do both well, the simple fact of trying to deal with these areas as
well as possible is a very effective way to avoid depressions. If you feel
sunk, you have to incorporate new activities into your life, instead of
eliminating them. In addition, "stress and doubt are two states that have
a positive side, because they keep us critical, active and full of vitality.
A quiet life is a beautiful dream, but it ends up
producing misery ". The dark moments of life allow us to discover the
amount of light and strength that we carry inside. In the dark, we must do what
we can to shine: read encouraging books, meditate, talk with a spiritual
reference, everything that revives our inner strength, true courage and
strength are what allow us to shine from within , even when our life goes
through a storm.
Commit yourself to achieve any goal that is proposed,
so you will have the strength to achieve it. People who have a high level of
security inspire confidence in others and it is an advantage to achieve
success. Personal trust is learned, built and worked from the environment that
surrounds it, at home, at work, at school and with friends. When there is
trust, there is courage to do things; When there is insecurity, the person
withdraws from the world, hides, leaves aside, does not face things.
To increase your personal safety, follow the
following tips: Be clear on your goals. - Prioritize the goals to be reached
through an administration in the steps that will take you to the final result.
- Encourage yourself every day to reach any goal, however minimal it may be.
